How can we achieve success?

There are many ways to become successful. One of the most important aspects is taking action and moving towards the goals and targets you have set for yourself.

When we are acting in some form of a sales capacity, there is a tendency to dot eh wrong thing. Here are two very powerful sentences from Carl Logrecco:

1. “A wise man investigates what a fool takes for granted!”

2. “Don’t sell the offer - describe the solutions to the pain and the path to achieve the goals!”

What this boils down to is the need to find out what people really want within about 30 seconds and then  trying to offer your help to get them what they want.

Whether you look at You Tube to see what people spend time on describing their problems and solutions, go to My Space or Facebook and observe the amount of time and effort young people spend on getting recognition and exposure among their peers, or look into LinkedIn and Plaxo, as well as Xing in the business world. All these places deal with opportunities to interact and exchange information.

They can be awesome tools to network. At the same time they allow the leader of the 21st Century to lead, manage, exchange information and ideas, but most importantly, offer help. People are looking for those individuals who are willing and ready to take action.

That’s part of the reason I love coaching and consulting so much. I get a chance to interact with people, help them achieve what they want, become successful partially through my support and the tools AMC offers, but most importantly, listen to them and help them overcome their pain.
